Conan O’Brien Must Go Season 3, Chris Fleming Late-Night Pitch, and Eric Andre Airport Settlement

Johnny Mac reports on Conan O’Brien Must Go season three debuting on HBO Max with four episodes set in India, the Netherlands, Morocco, and the Philippines, highlighting Conan’s approach to choosing locations, improvisation, and embracing travel chaos. He discusses a Harper’s Bazaar profile of Chris Fleming’s Largo variety show and argues for making the 12:30 slot “weird” again by giving Fleming Late Night, citing Mark Maron’s praise and Fleming’s influences and philosophy. The episode revisits Byron Allen’s stance against political humor and his claim that CBS gives him no content notes. Other items include Mariska Hargitay working with Colbert writers on the Emmys, Guillermo from Jimmy Kimmel launching a nationwide salsa line, and Sebastian Maniscalco reacting to Marcello Hernandez’s impression.  00:16 Conan Must Go Locations01:27 Improv Travel Chaos03:02 Make 1230 Weird Again03:37 Chris Fleming Profile05:24 Byron Allen Politics Debate07:13 Emmys Writers Room07:36 Guillermo Salsa Goes Wide08:46 Sebastian on Fallon09:09 Show Plug and Stock Market10:33 Legal Stories Roundup13:43 Wrap Up and Tomorrow TeaseBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/daily-comedy-news-with-johnny-mac--4522158/support.Today's DCN is brought to you by MyBookie use promo code DCN!Daily Comedy News is hosted by Johnny Mac and releases every weekday.
