The Pittsburgh Pirates are off to a 9-3 start through theearly portions of the 2024 MLB season. The team is getting contributions up and down the lineup and the pitching both from the rotation and bullpen have exceeded expectations early on. While they've won 9 out of their 12 games, it hasn't all been sunshine and rainbows. Closer David Bednar has struggled out of the gate, having blown 3 save oppurtunities already.
