Concerns raised over political interference on medical council

Hundreds of doctors have signed an open letter raising concerns about political interference over appointments to the Medical Council. The council oversees doctor registration, standards and complaints over conduct. The open letter has been penned by New Zealand Women In Medicine network chair GP Dr Orna McGinn who spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
