The program will start with reviewing the epidemiology and risk factors for concussions. Then the presenter will review how to assess a patient for concussion and then review the management of acute concussion. The second half of the program will be a discussion of prolonged concussion symptoms. The presenter will review the multi-disciplinary approach to prolonged concussion symptoms and how to combine medication and therapy to improve quality of life and decrease symptom burden to improve recovery.
