Condemnation vs. Conviction

from Bearing Fruit · host Roshal Mathew

We all make mistakes, it’s inevitable for us humans. We are all sinners. But when making those mistakes, do you feel guilt, shame and regret? Or do you feel corrected? Do you feel punished or disciplined? See these two feelings come from two very different sources. Let me introduce you to Condemnation and Conviction. In today’s episode we dive into where these two sources stem from. Because if you ever feel condemned rather than convicted, it comes from the evil, the only source that says that you will never be enough. But conviction comes from the Holy Spirit, always helping you to reach and be your best through love and compassion. That’s what Jesus is! Compassionate and loving, who doesn’t see us for our mistakes, but sees us for who we are.
