Confession of Faith

A child does not grow into family life alone. Baptism marks God's covenant promise and the church's responsibility to nurture faith, while public profession declares trust in Jesus and a desire to follow Him. Profession is a milestone, not proof that someone has finally arrived or has only just received salvation. Those who confess Jesus as Lord recognise their place in God's family and share fully in its rights and responsibilities because His grace reached them first. Preacher: KJ Tromp
