Conflict Resolution

“The goal in marriage is not to think alike, but to think together.” Healthy conflict resolution focuses on collaboration, not conformity. Conflict is inevitable in every relationship, even in marriage. Marriage is not a battleground for proving who is right and who is wrong. Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers" Being a peacemaker doesn’t mean avoiding conflict; rather, it means addressing it with love, patience, and a desire for reconciliation. It means putting the health of the relationship above our pride and seeking God’s guidance in how to respond. A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
