Confrontation and Comfort

Christ was not afraid of a confrontation. He spoke truth to power with the Pharisees and called King Herod a fox. Jeremiah before him also told truth to power. Jeremiah almost lost his life for this. Jesus did. However, Jesus ultimate confrontation brings us the ultimate comfort. By confronting sin, death and the devil, Christ triumphed and through his resurrection we may know the comfort that comes from knowing Him, this week, on Sola Gratia.
