God is calling people out of darkness into light. The Bible makes it clear that the human heart loves darkness more than it does light. In fact John 1 makes it clear that Jesus came as light in a dark world. When Paul stood on Mars Hill he boldly confronted darkness and his preaching resulted in 3 different reactions. Some mocked.
