從關懷澎湖難民營到虛擬生肉的藝術創作/專訪紀錄片導演劉吉雄

曾任奧美廣告文案，製作劇情片、非劇情片、廣告片、電視劇等作品的電影導演劉吉雄，2001年以《沒參加 | AND SHE WASN`T》獲選台北電影節最佳實驗片，2007年以《草木戰役》入圍金馬獎最佳紀錄片，並獲金穗獎的肯定，成績斐然。他同時成立了「講美難民檔案協會」，收集保存與澎湖難民營相關的生活故事和不為人知的相關文件影音檔案，藉此促進台灣與亞洲戰爭遺緒與遷移經驗的連結。最近在高雄美術館和立方計畫空間展出的「虛擬生肉」，可以看見他長期的關懷與創作核心，到底劉吉雄導演如何開始他的紀錄片導演之路？
