Congress needs to get behind the President and Elon about DOGE

While I agree with much of what President Trump and Elon Musk are doing with DOGE and ferreting out Government Waste and Abuse, I honestly believe that the President, in doing so, may be playing right into the Swamp’s hands.  Make no mistake, the President is right, and there is massive waste and fraud in government expenditures, particularly in Medicare and Social Security, where payments are being made for people over 120 years of age.  But technically, those cuts that the President and DOGE are making are SUPPOSED to be the purview of Congress.  The President is the leader we need.  The Congress, sadly, is not. Only by fixing Congress in 2026 can we get the change we need in government.
