Congressional Democrats Must Say No to Any FY26 Budget Deal with the MAGA Dictatorship Regime

The American people cannot afford another cycle of compromise with authoritarianism.The FY26 budget fight is not about numbers. It is not about “shutdowns” or “gridlock.” It is about whether Democrats will finally treat the MAGA regime for what it is: a dictatorship that cannot be trusted with power, money, or legitimacy and a compliant MAGA Republican Congressional majority.We Are Not in Normal TimesIn normal circumstances, compromise might be the reasonable path. But nothing about today is normal.* Russ Vought, Stephen Miller and Trump’s regime are already disregarding congressional appropriations—illegally withholding funds, redirecting them to punish non-MAGA Americans, and rescinding spending Congress already approved.* Family support programs, like childcare assistance for student parents, are being blocked to prove a political point.* Federal employees are being fired simply for disagreeing with Trump loyalists.* MAGA Congressional Republicans will not take action against the Trump regime when it violates Congressionally approved appropriations.This is not “politics as usual.” This is abuse against America. And Democrats have no obligation to enable that abuse.Don’t Fund the PredatorDemocrats must stop pretending that giving MAGA more money will make them behave. It won’t.Why should Democratic members of Congress support a Continuing Resolution or Omnibus Budget bill to give The Trump dictatorship regime the tools to:* Target American citizens and immigrants with surveillance and persecution.* Violate the Constitution by ignoring congressional spending directives.* Use taxpayer dollars as a weapon against the very people who pay them.* Invading Democratic majority voting cities and Majority Non-White cities with U.S. military troops.Appropriating money to this regime is like handing the knife to your abuser. Democrats must refuse.Stop Fearing the “Shutdown” NarrativeRepublicans want Democrats to fear being blamed for a shutdown. But you need to aggressively educate the Non-MAGA majority voters regarding who’s responsible for failing America by making truth simple again by sharing these clear facts:· The MAGA Dictatorship regime controls the White House and Congress, if they want to force an oppressive budget that weaponizes our Government against Non-MAGA American citizens and American immigrants, they need to do it themselves.· The MAGA Congressional leaders disrespect you and Non-MAGA America, they don’t consider you and the people who elected you and voted against them as equal citizens nor worthy of consideration in governing our country.· The MAGA majority party in Congress will not honor any agreements they make with you, they will use their Article I constitutional power to stop the abuses of the MAGA Dictatorship regime and they will continue to use this budget to attack the Article III Judiciary branch and Article IV State Governments entities to force submission to the Presidential regime.Tying this together, the Continuing resolution and appropriations bills the MAGA Majority has passed will allow them to keep stealing the house (money from your family and community, economic freedom and stability), the car (personal rights and liberties and freedom to vote as you choose) and the grandparents (social security, Medicare, retirement and planning for the future) from all Americans, but especially Non-MAGA Americans. Now, who are the Non-MAGA citizen voting eligible majority? They are comprised of four specific voting consumer groups out of the 241,598,019 eligible voting-age citizens from the 2024 Presidential election and include:o 75,017,613 voted for Kamala Harris (31.05%).o 2,918,109 voted for third-party Presidential candidates (1.21%).o 1,398,093 voted only down-ballot, skipping the presidency (0.58%).o 84,961,624 didn’t vote at all (35.17%).That adds up to 164,295,437 Americans—68% of the eligible voting electorate—who form the Non-MAGA majority and did not choose Trump or his MAGA agenda. Only 32% (77,302,580) voted for Trump. The facts math is clear: Democrats should not fear MAGA blame games. They should stand up for and focus on mobilizing the 68% majority by making the truth of this situation simple for voters to understand.Bipartisanship Is DeadThere is no “reasonable” MAGA partner left. Behind the scenes, they may whisper regret, but on the record they cheer false prosecutions, demonize Democrats as “traitors”, “evil”, “vermin”, and “American-hating scumbags” and vote in lockstep with Trump. They are like zombies in a horror movie. Once bitten, they don’t come back and no amount of hope will change them back. Stop pretending they can be saved. If the MAGA House and Senate Majority wants to pass this budget, force them to do it on their own.A New Strategy for DemocratsHere’s what must happen:* Say no to every single budget deal until the MAGA regime respects the Constitution and lawful appropriations.* Withdraw from MAGA-backed bills and stop legitimizing their agenda.* Introduce Democratic-only legislation—make the contrast clear.* Increase and better publicize your shadow hearings to show real oversight and accountability.* No Freedom, No Peace: We can’t play along, give grace or join hands with the MAGA Dictatorship Regime and movement - This is not the time for appeasement with the MAGA Dictatorship regime, who’s policies and actions hurts both Non-MAGA Americans and MAGA Americans. Democrats, as the leading coalition in the Pro-Democracy movement, must take an absolutist position on compromise and policy with the MAGA Fascist Dictatorship Republican movement.* Inhale the lie, exhale the truth: stop worrying about the amount of lies, responding to the lies is like breathing, it’s not easy but you do it every day.* Campaign on the truth: 68% of voting age American citizens are the Non-MAGA majority, and they deserve leaders who will protect—not betray—them.* Make Truth Simple Again (MTSA): Responding to all of the lies from the MAGA Dictatorship party and their MAGA Media ecosystem’s communications with clear, direct and constant communications.Refuse to Co-Sign the DictatorshipDemocrats must stop being the “grownups in the room” while the house burns down. Compromise is not maturity—it is surrender.Say no. Say no to funding abuse. Say no to MAGA dictatorship. Say no to every single budget deal that hands Trump and his enablers the tools to hurt the very Americans we represent.
