Connect: Final Cut Pro and ADVC-300

This tutorial we shall be going over on how to connect your ADVC-300 or similar device to your computer running Final Cut Pro, in order to capture your video. In my example I am using a Sony VHS to DVD Recorder, but in most cases you may be using a regular VCR which the steps outlined will still be the same. Make sure that you have your ADVC-300 device connected and both your computer & device turned on. Keep in mind that some applications such as iChat or Screen Sharing can conflict with your device so be sure not to be running those while doing your capture.
