Rather than an external call from a deity, Goddard emphasizes that being called by God is an internal experience of recognizing and aligning with your own divine nature. In his teachings, the heart and the brain must work together in coherence if we want to heal, reprogram ourselves, and manifest new realities. 1. Heart–Brain Coherence Dispenza explains that the heart is not just a physical pump—it has its own nervous system and sends more signals to the brain than the brain sends to the heart. When we feel emotions like gratitude, love, compassion, and joy, the heart enters a coherent rhythm. This coherence sends orderly, harmonious signals to the brain, which allows the mind to function with clarity, creativity, and balance. The opposite is also true: stress, fear, or anger create incoherent heart rhythms, which throw the brain into survival mode and limit higher thinking. 2. Emotions and Programming For Dispenza, the subconscious is reprogrammed not just by thoughts, but by thoughts combined with elevated emotions. Thinking alone doesn’t rewire the brain; it’s when we marry a clear intention (thought) with an elevated emotion (heart) that we “signal” the body and subconscious to accept a new reality. Example: Instead of just affirming “I am abundant” with words, feeling deep gratitude and joy for that abundance makes the subconscious and body believe it’s already happening. 3. Healing Through the Heart Dispenza often points to research showing that states like gratitude, love, and compassion strengthen the immune system and promote healing. By practicing heart-centered meditation, people have reported changes in their biology, from lowered stress hormones to improved brain function. The heart, when activated with these emotions, becomes the “gateway” to changing the body at a cellular level. 4. The Heart as the Bridge to the Quantum Field Dispenza links the heart–mind connection to spirituality and the quantum model of reality. The mind sets the intention: what you want to create. The heart provides the energy: the elevated emotional state that connects you to the quantum field of possibility. When mind and heart are aligned, you “broadcast” a coherent electromagnetic signal that draws matching experiences back into your life. 5. Practical Application: Heart–Centered Meditation He teaches practices where you: Focus attention on the space of the heart. Breathe slowly and deeply. Generate feelings of gratitude, love, or compassion. Hold a clear mental image of your desired future. Feel it as if it’s happening now. This creates the alignment between thought (mind) and emotion (heart), which he says is the formula for creating lasting change. ✨ In summary, Joe Dispenza sees the heart–mind connection as the engine of transformation: the mind provides the blueprint, but the heart supplies the power. When they work in coherence, you shift your biology, reprogram your subconscious, and open the door to creating a new reality.
