In this episode, we welcome back Dr. Shanelle Fields to celebrate the release of her book GRIEF MATTERS: Authentic Perspectives of Life and Loss which she co-authored  with  Vera Brown, LPC CGC, Dr. Laganna Lawrence, Esaunta Buncomb, and Deidra Addison.  When asked why she and the co-authors decided to write a book on grief, she kindly explained that the grieving process requires patience, time, and understanding.  She also said this doesn't only apply to the person experience grief.  It applies to the loved ones of the individual grieving.  Dr. Fields and her co-authors did a remarkable job presenting a case that grief matters all the time.  We were extremely pleased she took the time to CONNECT with me and my listening audience.
