With this in mind on the first anniversary of Colson's passing, Union University and the Witherspoon Institute hosted a conference May 2-4, 2013 entitled "Salt and Light in the Public Square: Charles Colson's Legacy and Vision." The conference included keynote addresses by Timothy George, Robert P. George, Garland Hunt and Russell D. Moore.
