A tremendous honour to speak with one of Oz Rocks finest. Scott Owen plays the double bass(or show off as he likes to put it haha)for The Living End, who need very little introduction. As a member of one of Australia’s finest rock acts, he’s also making a name for himself as an artist, producing spiritual art called Mandala. We dig deep into his early days of piano lessons to feeding his musical hunger with 50’s rock n roll, to heroes and tapping unleashed potential on the double bass, before discussing the therapeutic and calming art style that is Mandala.
