I had the opportunity to speak with Adam Shield of the Feather, who recently visited Sweden to hold Indigenous healing ceremonies. He is a Native American of the Oneida Nation with South American heritage, born on a reservation in Idaho. As a young man, he felt a calling to learn more about his ancestors and culture. For over ten years now, he has traveled around the world, living on donations, meeting Indigenous elders from many different countries and visited sacred sites. Adam runs the organization Tree of Light, which aims to rediscover and revive ancient Indigenous practices to help heal ourselves and Mother Earth.
