Glenn Barry is a Gamilaraay First Nation man, musician, healer, and cultural leader dedicated to bridging traditional and contemporary worlds into what he calls a “trademporary” space. As a PhD Candidate at Griffith University’s Queensland Conservatorium, his research “The Spiritual Wellbeing and Healing of First Nation Music – A Gamilaraay Perspective” explores how Yidaki (didgeridoo) vibrations bring gii/dhuwi (heart and soul) into authentic human connection. Glenn’s practice spans art therapy, Shiatsu bodywork, martial arts, sound healing, and Indigenous facilitation worldwide.
