Connectivity: Birds of Belize with Mat Charette

On today’s episode of Conservation Conversations we talk with Mat Charette of Toucan Ridge Ecology and Education society or TREES! T.R.E.E.S is a small grassroots ecological conservation organization hosting a research and education center in the hills of Belize. The TREES field station and research and education center functions as a wildlife ecology research and education center, focusing on tropical ecology research and post-secondary education. Mat and his partners started the Toucan Ridge Bird Observatory, a research banding station aimed to answer questions about the birds of Belize and migratory birds of the Americas.
