Connor McDavid hits 900 points

Every night we all expect something special from Connor McDavid and even when he pulls it off we are still all amazed. Last night was no different as the Edmonton Oilers captain scored five points and hit the 900 point milestone, making him the 5th fastest player to that total in NHL history. The Oilers star forward had a point on every goal in last nights 5-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers. First, he got the scoring started with his 14th of the season putting Travis Sanheim to the ice in the process. He followed that up with assists on the next four from Zach Hyman, Leon Draisaitl and two from Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. McDavid was excellent last night but so was Stuart Skinner between the pipes. Skinner made huge stops throughout the game saving his best for last denying Joel Farabee late in the game.
