Connor McDavid is a little banged up but the Oilers are still in great shape

We've passed the midway point of the week, which means a fresh episode of your mom's favourite podcast is ready to massage your earholes. On this week's Better Lait Than Never, we're looking at Connor McDavid's day-to-day injury, more cereal talk, playoff matchups, and whatever else has been going on over the last seven days.Kicking off this week's BLTN, I started the podcast with a random collection of topics, including a look at a birthday song that Meat Watcher made for me. We haven't heard from Meat Watch in a while, but our guy came through with another beautiful BLTN original. I also called back on our great cereal debate from a few weeks ago after buying another blast from the past and adjusting my overall cereal rankings accordingly.Turning the podcast back to the Oilers, I started the news with the big story everyone is talking about Connor McDavid is banged up and will miss tonight's game versus the Golden Knights. Listed at day-to-day, McDavid could miss a game or two while he recovers from a lower-body injury, and understandably, Oilers fans are freaking out about it. We're also losing our collective minds about the Corey Perry/Evander Kane exchange from Saturday night when the camera caught them going at it a little bit.Lastly, I wrapped up this week's podcast with a little bit of betting talk for our friends at Bet99, offered up an RSB about the Arizona Coyotes, and capped things off with another round of voicemails that ranged from Oilers talk to dating to more cereal talk and everything in between.
