Connor Thomas Finds His Groove | Kansas City Royals News

Connor Thomas, the Royals’ waiver pickup from the A’s, is quietly turning heads in Kansas City’s bullpen. After a brutal stint with Atlanta—where he posted a 9.35 ERA and was DFA’d—he’s flipped the script with KC, posting a stellar 2.45 ERA in just 11 innings. The key? He’s finally throwing strikes—his strike zone rate jumped from under 42% to nearly 50%. His stuff is sharper too, with improved fastballs and sinkers, plus a subtle arm slot tweak. If he keeps this up, he could be a vital piece of the Royals’ bullpen puzzle. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
