Conor Delaney on Improv, and Chicago Comedy

from Niche Talks · host Drew Waldron

Hi Everyone, this is Drew Waldron, and thank you for tuning into another episode of Niche Talks.  Today’s Niche is improv comedy, and we’re joined by Conor Delaney.  Conor began his comedy career at the Firehouse Theater in Newport Rhode Island alongside the Bit Players, a comedy group that I found myself joining years later as a musician.  Conor and I met over this past Summer, and connected over social media - I was fascinated with his story: Moving to Chicago to pursue creative ventures in a city that not only has a legendary comedy scene, but is the birthplace of improv comedy itself.  Conor credits the Bit Players for introducing him to a passion he loves, and I credit the Bit Players for re-invigorating my musicianship at a time in my life where I was lacking creativity - so I was thrilled to sit down with Conor and discuss that, as well as his own creative endeavors.  Please enjoy.
