Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer who was convicted of killing George Floyd, was seriously injured in a stabbing attack at the facility where he is currently serving his sentences. On Saturday morning, ABC News reported that Chauvin is in "stable" condition and is expected to survive his injuries. Utah Senator Mitt Romney, a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump, expressed to CBS News' Norah O'Donnell his willingness to vote for certain Democrats over Trump.
