Conquering Jericho
from Grace in the Shadows Hosted by Dr. Marla and Dr. Jonathan Behler
Send us Fan Mail Join us on this fascinating journey as we learn how Joshua's spiritual and physical preparations played a significant role in the Israelites' conquest of Jericho and how it relates to our modern lives. We dive into the book of Joshua, chapter three, to uncover the importance of consecration and following the Ark of the Covenant. And yes, we do reveal some fun facts about octopuses, sugar, hot water, and vending machines along the way! Our exploration continues with the crucial role of preparation in welcoming God's presence, as seen in David's instructions for carrying the Ark and the steps of purification involved. Witness the awe-inspiring moment when the Lord parted the waters of the Jordan River, enabling the Israelites to cross on dry ground. Plus, we reflect on the timeless message that God remains constant - yesterday, today, and forever. Don't miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding of the incredible power of preparation, all set against a backdrop of faith, history, and some unexpected tidbits.
