Memory Verse: "But the moment one turns to the Lord with an open heart, the veil is lifted and they see" - 2 Corinthians 3:16 TPT Bible Text: Isaiah 25:7 AMP 7. And on this mountain He will destroy the covering that is [cast] over all peoples, and the veil [of death] that is woven and spread over all the nations. INSPIRATION: Dictionary defines obscurity as 'to live in darkness; the absence of light; it is the state of being unknown; it is the quality of being difficult to understand.' How do you deal with obscurity? How do you handle situations where you seem left in the dark, devoid of access to the right information, privileges and opportunities? Have you ever felt your time hasn't come when you watch great opportunities pass you by or you see others enjoying the dividends of what you all worked for? These are concerns we want to address in this series. Oftentimes, it is not ordinary to bypass or forget people. Yet, it does happen. Isaiah says God will destroy the covering that is cast over all peoples (Isa. 25:7). It means a veil exists that walls you in and covers you up from being accessed even when you manifest great skills and results. He said the veil is woven and spread over the nations, and this points us to the fact that coincidences do not exist. Do not explain away your mysteries and miseries where you should take up arms in warfare against the enemy. The first and best way to deal with obscurity is to turn to Christ because "The moment one turns to the Lord with an open heart, the veil is lifted and they see" (2 Cor 3:16 TPT). You've got to turn on your lights or gravitate towards light to create visibility. You've got to resist every that makes you and your potentials irrecognisable. Why should you be so talented a performer yet under-appreciated? King Solomon says it is an error (Eccl. 10: 5)! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Living your life to chance may leave you far behind in time, opportunities and privileges unless you deal with the veils covering you from prominence. It starts from knowing and taking decisive actions to unveil every veil that has hidden you in obscurity. PRAYER: O Lord, please shine Your light over every darkness that desires to trap me in obscurity. Cause me to come out from all covering casts that I may see, use and have all You desire that I have, in Jesus name.
