Memory Verse: "But the moment one turns to the Lord with an open heart, the veil is lifted and they see" - 2 Corinthians 3:16 TPT Bible Text: Isaiah 25:7 AMP 7. And on this mountain He will destroy the covering that is [cast] over all peoples, and the veil [of death] that is woven and spread over all the nations. INSPIRATION: The wise man said, "I have seen servants on horses, while princes walk on the ground like servants" (Eccl 10:7). This is a typical experience of men who have been placed in obscurity. When logic stands in its head to frustrate you, and the normal sequence of events is breached to deny you what you're due, it is instructive to know you're being outwitted and manipulated out of your rights. King Solomon calls it an evil error (Eccl. 10:5). It follows therefore that obscurity is targeted at causing you to experience evil errors that shortchanges you constantly. But God does not approve for anyone to be shortchanged (Lam.3:36). For this reason, Mephibosheth, Saul's grandson, was sent for by David and shown kindness (2 Sam. 9: 1-13). When life obscures you, it affects your psyche - Mephibosheth saw himself as a dead dog! Obscurity makes you feel forgotten, deprived and your faultlines accentuated to disqualify you from help. Mephibosheth's deformity - he was lame in his feet (2 Sam. 9:3) - was reported to David to discourage and disqualify him. I decree and cancel every evil report against you to disqualify and obscure you from God's favour and man's help. It becomes of no effect whatsoever, in Jesus name. Any evil conspiracy to pull you down becomes your springboard to greater heights. The more evil of you they speak, the more your virtues shine through. Favour beckons on all sides that cancels every dark report and evil premeditation, in Jesus name, Amen! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Obscurity sponsors evil that's geared towards shortchanging you; it eats deep into the fabrics of your mind, destroys your belief systems and robs you of all that's due you. You must therefore guard your heart and stop this programmed negative trend. PRAYER: O Lord, deliver me from every evil associated with obscurity, keep my mind from believing less of myself, and cause me to be a daily recipient of Your kindness and the help of men, in Jesus name
