In Episode 6 of the Arctic Indigenous Investment Series, host Blair Travis Hogan sits down with Conrad Browne, President and CEO of Dakwakada Capital Investments (DCI), for a wide-ranging conversation about private equity, patient capital, Indigenous ownership, and the continued evolution of First Nation investment in the North.Conrad explains DCI’s investment model — generally pursuing opportunities between $5 million and $50 million, seeking controlling positions, investing heavily in due diligence, and adding value through finance, human resources, safety, governance and operational systems.
