Conscious Conversation with Jenn Weidman - CEO of Space Bangkok

from Audacious Confidence with Dr. Deena · host Dr. Deena, The Catalyst

Inspiring _Empowering_Transformative Welcome to Walking Through Glass: The Podcast. You are invited to ear-hustle on an intimate conversation where we discuss our journey, joys, and diva hacks that help us “walk through glass”. Our conscious conversations are unscripted and real. They tell our stories and share how we do our best to navigate fear, anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome, limited beliefs, negative self-talk and other BS (belief systems). Walking Through Glass: The Podcast is not about breaking through the "glass ceiling" it is about the struggle we face as women on our journey which I’ve coined "walking through glass". We are all on the same journey although we may take different paths. No matter what we must #embracethejourney. Please join me in welcoming special guest Jenn. Jenn’s passion lies in accompanying the people who are changing the world to help them work and live with resilience and better accomplish their purpose.  She is founder and CEO of Space Bangkok, a social enterprise that helps those addressing the biggest problems do their best work by incorporating reflective and resilience elements in leadership development, facilitation, peacebuilding, capacity building, and other work.  She is a facilitation, training, resilience, and peacebuilding professional with over 18 years' experience working on peace and capacity building programs in Thailand and Southeast Asia.  Space Bangkok is a part of the Humanity’s Thread community of practice which formed to pioneer sustaining peacebuilders and peacebuilding.   Prior to founding Space Bangkok, Jenn spent ten years establishing and leading the Rotary Peace Center at Chulalongkorn University as the deputy director.  Over those ten years she led 15 cohorts of Rotary Peace Fellows on their journey of development and discovery, leading, teaching, and holding together teams of Rotary Peace Fellows through their intensive 3-month program.   An anthropologist by training, she is fluent in Thai and has lived in Thailand on and off for over 27 years.  She is a Southeast Asia specialist finding herself immersed in dialogue around many Southeast Asia conflicts.  Her essential indulgences include working wood into talking sticks, composing the odd haiku, gardening, and cooking, and she is a dedicated student in an ancient and traditional Thai martial art.
