Being a parent in today’s world is incredibly challenging!!✨Would you like to learn some tips on how to parent more consciously?✨Are you frustrated with modern society and want to learn some new parenting strategies?✨ Our next guest is Kiely Modiri. She was in the education field for over 10 years and taught grades second through fourth in public schools. Her undergraduate work is in Child & Adolescent Development and she has a Master’s in Educational Leadership, her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential as well as her Administration Credential. However, she intentionally let both credentials expire. She saw a tremendous need and desire to separate herself from a system she no longer resonated with. A system where politicians had more say over the curriculum than the actual experts in the field. A place where students had to fit in a very specific box, otherwise they were labeled as not thriving and many times punished. After having her daughter, Kiely became very passionate and committed to building new systems that support and honor the authenticity of each child and their individual growth. She wanted to create a community where parents felt supported and had opportunities to learn new ways in holding space for their children. Kiely and her family now have a farm, homeschool and successful brand centered around these principles. You do not want to miss this conversation where we dive into the difference between reactionary and conscious parenting. ✨Kiely's contact:IG: @alpinevillageschoolIG: @alpinevillagefarms✨Follow us on IG: @sovereignafpodcast✨Join our FB group where you can watch live episodes and ask questions: Sovereign AF (facebook.com) Hosted on Acast.
