Consent and Politeness | Don't Get the Two Confused

Today in a special episode I talk about the adventures we had on our recent trip to the Philippines and what is going on right now in America.I wanted to talk about consent and politeness, and when to speak up.  Right now, with what is happening so rapidly in America - this is not the time to be "nice," or quiet, or fear we will ruffle feathers.  It is the time to speak up - LOUDLY and Often - and very, very Boldly.  I had a couple situations recently (one at a spa, and one on the plane home) that made me very uncomfortable - so to protect my body and comfort I spoke up.  How many times in my life did I keep myself in a bad or unsafe situation because I didn't want the other person or persons to think I was not "nice."How many times have I questioned myself before speaking up, wasting valuable seconds?It is the time for artists to get to work.
