In 2015, almost 60 years of conventional medical practice was legally challenged in a landmark case regarding consent to treatment. The College has developed a series of three podcasts exploring the legal, ethical and practical implications of the Montgomery judgement, and discussing the new guidance on Consent: Supported Decision-Making, produced by the College.
