Conservation: Sportsmen's Alliance - Legislation Action Alert

On this episode Sean Curran and Bruce Tague of the Sportsmen's Alliance sit down to discuss the current legislative victories and concerns, both on a national and state level. There have been some really great bills passed recently that all sportsmen will benefit from, but unfortunately there are some really bad ones out there as well. Currently, Bruce and his team are monitoring 48 active legislative cycles for bills that would negatively impact the outdoors.  Specifically, if you are a New Mexico listener, or non-resident sportsmen, House Bill 366 and Senate Bill 76 are both currently on the table to remove trapping from ALL public lands. On this episode we discuss how trapping impacts everyone today, and how the banishment of trapping would be catastrophic for communities that are reliant on the activities on public lands.
