10-28-25 Conservative Commandos: WILL MAMDANI CONDEMN UGANDA FOR KILLING GAYS???!!!Uganda has outlawed homosexuality under its Anti-Homosexuality Act, 2023, which was signed into law by President Yoweri Museveni on May 29, 2023. The law is considered one of the world's harshest, and a constitutional court upheld most of its provisions in April 2024. Key provisions of the law:Life imprisonment: The law imposes life imprisonment for consensual same-sex relations.Death penalty: The penalty for "aggravated homosexuality" is death. This charge applies in cases involving same-sex relations with a minor, a disabled person, or if the offender is a repeat offender. In August 2023, a 20-year-old man was the first to be charged with "aggravated homosexuality" under the new law.Promotion of homosexuality: The law makes the "promotion" of homosexuality an offense, with a penalty of up to 20 years in prison.
