Consider This: Diplomacy - Conversations of Consequence?

The most visible aspect of diplomacy is those ‘photo-op handshake meetings’ between heads of state, ministers and officials. But beneath this top-level diplomacy is a network of unofficial activities and dialogue between think tanks, civil society organisations, academics and private citizens - that help to support and strengthen official ties. On the 17th of August, the Institute of Strategic and International Studies will be hosting one this region’s main Track 2 strategic conferences - The Asia-Pacific Roundtable.
