Consolation!
from Zacharias Ursinus on SermonAudio Hosted by Winnen Russ
Zacharias Ursinus points out in his commentary on the Heidelberg that God designs His church to be distinguished from the world by the concept taught in John 1:17, which is "The law and the gospel." He says that the first reason God designs the church to be distinguished this way is for His glory. And the second reason is for the *consolation* of His people. This is the subject of today's sermon.
