On Belief Busters we discuss ways to see people who believe in conspiracies in a new light. What if conspiracy theorists are simply trying to connect with God in an alternative way. What if because of their disillusionment with religious dogma, people are looking for things to battle in the hopes of winning God's favor? Is it possible for us to choose to not disagree with their beliefs, but to understand they are searching for spiritual connection? Could we renew their trust in humanity again, by simply listening and finding common ground?   Our guest is Anthony Russo. He is a journalist and has found a calling in his most recent work, a book on cults and conspiracy theorists,  Dragged into the Light.
