Conspiracy theories appear to be on the rise

More people seem to believe conspiracy theories these days. For example, a survey from Newsguard finds nearly a quarter of people believe the shooting at the White House Correspondents' Dinner last month was staged. MIT political science professor Adam Berinsky says social media is partly to blame for fueling conspiracy theories.
