Constantino’s Parade Controversy | Montpelier News

Anthony Constantino’s surprise appearance at the Massena Labor Day parade with United Steelworkers Local 420-A has sparked controversy—was it a genuine endorsement or just a photo op? The union claims they never invited him, saying his campaign director’s request was denied by their PAC, and that Constantino joined after the parade began, which they found odd. But his campaign insists he was warmly welcomed, sharing video evidence of pre-parade interactions and highlighting his commitment to job creation. The union now says he misrepresented their support, calling the moment opportunistic—and apologized to the community for the fallout.
