Under the agreement, McCormick will pay Unilever $15.7 billion and the equivalent of $29.1 billion McCormick shares for most of Unilever’s food business, leaving Unilever and its shareholders with 65% of the combined entity.- Apellis Pharmaceuticals (APLS) shares gain after Biogen agreed to acquire Apellis for $5.6 billion, expanding its treatments in immunology and rare diseases.
