The President of the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of Africa who is also South Africa’s Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoen say the role of the Judiciary on the African continent is being now recognised more than ever. He was speaking at the annual CCJA which was held in KZN South Africa. The body was established by the African Union to promote the rule of law and good governance and to further entrench human rights values in Africa. The conference saw judicial practitioners from most African countries come together under one roof. To help us unpack and discuss this further we are joined on the line by:1.
