Frakten för en 40’ container från Kina till Norden har femfaldigats och kostar idag långt över 10.000 USD på spotmarknaden i Kina. Är detta verkligen rimligt och vilket ansvar bär rederierna för denna extrema uppgång? Vi analyserar bakomliggande faktorer och spekulerar om framtida konsekvenser. Rederierna hänvisar till ”tillgång och efterfrågan” men är det kanske så att man nu ser möjligheten att utnyttja situationen för att kompensera många tidigare förlusttyngda år?
