Contend for the Faith

from SPLC Sermons-Concordia, MO · host St. Paul's Lutheran Church

Pastor Michael preaches with this week’s takeaway: So many people seem so quick to argue these days …especially in an election year. But Jude tells us what we are to fight for; he says, “Contend for the faith” (Jude 3). Have we given up the fight? Are we fighting for the wrong things? God is able to keep you on the right track (Jude 24–25). PREPARING FOR NEXT WEEK’S WORSHIP Malachi 3:6–12; Hebrews 4:1–16; Mark 10:23–31 Hymns (Lutheran Service Book): 807, 788, 559, 783, 782, 786
