Being a Doctor and a content creator can feel like two careers sometimes. There are also stretches throughout the year where we just can’t do it all. There is no need to beat yourself up over periods of time where you just can’t create new content and don’t worry, it doesn’t have to sink your practice. There is a solution to these periods of time were creating content just seems impossible. The good news is, you have created great content in the past and you can utilize that to fill these gaps. In this episode, we discuss how you can take your previous content and fill gaps in your marketing calendar. We will discuss the following: • When you should prune some of your old content on your website and get rid of it. • How you can use Google Search results to show you which blogs you may want to remove, or even better, refurbish and make even better because it is getting a lot of clicks. • How to repurpose and when to repurpose old content. • When to recognize that you need a break from creating content and how to prepare for it. My goal is to always help you bridge the gap between being a full-time Doctor and also have marketing for your practice. It would be unrealistic to expect you to be a world-class marketer who never takes a break to focus on your patients or other practice-building aspects. Give yourself some slack.
