Contracts with Jesus Many Christians fall into the trap of creating unwritten "contracts" with God—doing good works while expecting blessings in return. This transactional mindset leads to disappointment and resentment when our expectations aren't met. The Problem: We serve our spouses, give to the church, or do ministry work expecting God to reward us with a better life, financial success, or answered prayers. The Solution: Cut these contracts. Follow Jesus' example of selfless service—He gave everything without expecting anything back. Instead of bargaining with God, surrender to His plan and timing through regular Bible reading, prayer, and accountability with other believers.
