Within the first 30 years of the death, burial & resurrection of Jesus, heresy crept into the church. In fact, it's always been there. The Apostle Paul, writes his cherished disciple, Timothy, to encourage him in matters pertaining to salvation & hope. However, he must first expose unsound doctrine that's contrary to the Gospel.
