Over the years, especially recently, there's been a phenomenon studied by psychologists primarily called the negativity bias. Now, the negativity bias belongs to that inner fear circle because it's the tendency of our brain to lock onto what's wrong in a situation rather than what's going right. You can see this in how we lived, hundreds of thousands, thousands of years ago. It's thought now that our brain hasn't changed much in a hundred thousand years.
