Conversation 7 - Mark Rodeghier

from API Case Files · host Marsha Barnhart

Recorded: 12 June 2017 Released: 27 July 2017 Duration: 64 minutes, 59 seconds   Marsha Barnhart talks to Dr. Mark Rodeghier, President and Scientific Director of the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies. The Center was founded originally by Dr. J. Allen Hynek, who was a professor of astronomy at The Ohio State University, and later, chairman of the astronomy department at Northwestern University near Chicago, where the Center for UFO Studies is based. It is a privately funded UFO research group.   Dr. Rodeghier—who holds a BS in astrophysics from Indiana University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago—has headed the Center since 1986. He was a colleague of Dr. Hynek's and shares the same passion for approaching the UFO/UAP phenomenon from a scientific point-of-view. His work at the Center for UFO Studies dovetails perfectly into his position as science director with the UFODATA Project, which is the subject of this episode.   Formore information, please visit:  Bio Info: 1. http://www.cufos.org/mark_rodeghier.html Center for UFO Studies 1. http://www.cufos.org/org.html 2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Center_for_UFO_Studies   UFO DATA Project/Team, 1. http://www.ufodata.net/team.html 2. http://earthsky.org/space/scientists-ufodata-monitor-skies-ufos 3.http://www.openminds.tv/mark-rodeghier-scientific-ufo-data-collection-october-27-2015/35429   Music DJ Spooky/Check Your math: http://freemusicarchive.org/music/DJ_Spooky/none_given_1098/14_-_DJ_Spooky_-_Check_Your_Math Alien Chronicler/Time Surfer: https://soundcloud.com/totality_music William Tyler/Cadillac Desert: https://soundcloud.com/mergerecords/william-tyler-cadillac-desert
