Conversation w/ Architect Kathryn Tyler Prigmore FAIA

from Architecture is Political · host Melissa Daniel

With over 30 years experience, Kathryn's architecture anthology can be a dissertation. She's not only my mentor, but a close friend. Notably, she was one of the first 20 African American Women registered to practice architecture in the United States, and was elevated to Fellowship in the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in 2002. Ms. Prigmore received her Master of Science in Engineering degree from The Catholic University of America and her Bachelor of Science in Building Sciences and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
